I wonder if something similar was going on here.<br /><br />Mind you, <i>DuckTales</i> was originally aired on a five-days-a-week schedule, so a five-episode opening story arc made sense in a way it wouldn't for a weekly series.<br /><br />Also, while it took five episodes to establish the status quo vis-a-vis Scrooge and his nephews and their relationship, the tales of derring-do promised in the title sequence kicked in by episode two at the latest.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
